The Perfect Lift has been a God sent gift. My son Tanner is 15 years old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. In January 2020 while getting into bed, Tanner took a fall and we ended up in the ICU at the local hospital. Unfortunately, this hospital was ill equipped to move my son from his chair to the x-ray machine and hospital bed and knew very little regarding his condition. We fortunately had our lift with us as it is always on his chair, so my husband and I were able to get him into the hospital bed. Once we were discharged the hospital sent us home with equipment that was to large for our small home. Again, we used the Perfect Lift to transfer my son and never the equipment they sent.
Fast forward to September, and we learned Tanner had a tumor in his spin. He underwent a 12 hour surgery and again the local hospital was ill equipped to care for my son. The doctors would tell us to no move him where his back could curve. How do you do this when his can’t walk nor can he use the lift they provided because it does not support his back. So, we pulled out the Perfect Lift which allows us to move him in a position that supported his back.
The Prefect Lift should be a stand piece of equipment for every school, hospital, and household with a non-ambulatory individual. I could go on and on regarding how much this lift has given us freedom and peace of mind.
I would like to thank Dana for creating such a wonderful tool for our family to use on vacation. Our son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and can no longer walk on his own. He is dependent on getting from his bed to his wheelchair, from his chair to the toilet and from his chair to the shower. We have used the Perfect Lift on vacation many times. We no longer need to find ourselves scrambling to find a hotel room with a hotel pool in order to accommodate our son's needs. Our son can now be transported to the toilet or bed or even in or out of the hotel pool via the Perfect lift. This device is lightweight and makes an easy travel companion. We have also used the Perfect Lift on our cruise. We once had to transfer my son from the cruise ship to a tender boat in order to come ashore Bar Harbor, Maine. We were happy we had the Perfect Lift on board with us which helped up with this transfer so my son wouldn't miss out on seeing this beautiful town. We are extremely grateful to have this lift in our possession 24/7. It is nice to have it as an emergency back up in the van or in his room. In the event an emergency should arise in the home setting or while traveling!-Tina Carson
We just returned from all 4 Disney World parks, where we were able to get my son on rides he would never have been able to, without the Perfect Lift. There are other type devices out there, but none like the strength and with holes allowing it to breathe so my son didn't get hot with it under him, in his wheelchair. Thanks for such a great item. It's a life changer, my son went on his very first rollercoaster ride!

The Perfect Lift is an amazing piece of equipment. We have had it in our home for over a year. We used it off & on but it became painstakingly obvious we needed to use it everyday, all the time, when our 14 year old son broke his femur and ankle last February. The Perfect Lift has been a "Godsend".
My son was hospitalized for 1 week due to these breaks, the nurses wanted to use the hospital hoyer lift to get him into his power chair. The complete and total anxiety of that task was enormous for our son. Once we brought the Perfect Lift from home our son felt much more at ease while being moved by his parents.
Once we arrived home and our son was re-cooperating, the Perfect Lift allowed for easy, safe transport to the toilet, shower and bed. Our son felt safe to be transported. We truly cannot live without this lift. It has "SAVED" our backs. My husband and I could barely lift him on our own, but now we are "pros" at using it. Our son, Levi, sits on the lift all day, while on his power chair. So when he wants to be moved "anywhere" we can accommodate easily.
in the past we rarely visited family and friends because we could not get Levi their homes, the Perfect Lift has changed that! It has changed Levi's quality of life. He can visit his cousins and know he will be able to go inside their homes without worry.
I can't say enough about this lift, it's not only a game changer, it's a "life changer"
Well what can I say you know Phillip and I travel a lot - just not this year! We attend all the PPMD conferences as you know and coming from the UK we always extend it to a holiday and pools figure in this! We are lucky to have a gorgeous 17th Century house we rent in Corfu where a lot of my family live and my second cousin’s husband Nick is a fireman ( maybe you want to think about Greece as a market? ) so along with my brother Steven they were able to lift him in and out of the pool with ease. We will be back to Orlando next June - let’s hope the Perfect lift will be in our suitcase and Corfu in August and anywhere we travel.
Hi, we just recently purchased a lift and have enjoyed it very much. It has made moving our boy around much easier for us. He also hasDMD. I thought at first he wouldn’t like it. He is very picky about things being “uncomfortable” but after the initial ride he has loved it. It has made being moved around more enjoyable for him instead of feeling like a sack of potatoes.
I did have a question, do you have any advice for using it for bathroom trips? Have you found an easy way to get shorts off and then back on after he uses the restroom. Right now we still just kind of lift him around for that. If you do have any advice I would love to hear it. Thanks again for making a great product!
